Based at St Joseph's Church, Belgarth Rd, Accrington, the volunteer group meets each Friday at 7pm to provide support and social events for people who are newly arrived in the country. They can help with, chosing

schools, housing problems, police issues, employment problems, provide trade union introductions and anything which is a barrier to enjoying good working and social conditions. website www.parasol.me.uk A large numbers of people attend each week and all services are free of charge.. They have opened a Polish saturday school and will in July open

an office in the town centre.
