Experian - Attracting Talent (Sept 2006)

The research was undertaken for Yorkshire Forward, the Humber Economic Forum,North West Development Agency, the Welsh Assembly Government, Skills for Care, Skills for Health and the Department of Trade and Industry's Small Business Service in the period from April to August 2006.

"Attracting Talent" has had the following objectives:

- Identify the key migration trends affecting regions and industrial sectors in the UKincluding both UK domestic and international migration.

- Analyse the drivers behind these trends.

- Identify the impacts these trends are having.

- Consider future migration scenarios.

- Make recommendations for migration policy at regional and sector levels.
