Funded NVQ Training for Employers
Bolton Community College offers employers funded training leading to an NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 qualification, through Train to Gain. Training is available in a variety of occupational areas including Business, Information Technology, Care and Catering.
NVQ Level 2
Training to NVQ Level 2 can be fully funded through Train to Gain, providing an ideal opportunity for your existing workforce to gain an accredited qualification at no cost to either you or them.
NVQ Level 3
For those working at a more advanced level, perhaps with supervisory responsibilities, we can offer subsidised training to NVQ Level 3.
Benefits include:
Free/heavily subsidised training,
A nationally recognised qualification,
Flexible training delivery that accommodates your needs,
A range of optional support, such as help with reading, writing and maths,
Quality assured training delivered by industry training professionals.
Train to Gain is particularly relevant to staff who may have missed out on the opportunity to gain formal qualifications through other routes, such as Apprenticeships.
Train to Gain eligibility criteria
Learners must be employed and must not already hold an NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification to access Level 2 Train to Gain funding. To access funding towards NVQ Level 3, learners must be employed by businesses with less than 250 staff and must not already hold an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification. The College can offer NVQ training to everyone, although in some cases a cost may be incurred.
