a 30 hour, basic Somali language course for professionals working with Somali speaking communities in Manchester has been organised. The course will enable participants to acquire basic skills to sound out Somali words, read and speak basic sentences in Somali language. In addition, the course is self-contained with cultural familiarisation pack about Somali culture, the poetry and history of written Somali language.
